About Us
Born from a question that eventually occupies many sufferers
Why does tinnitus still dictate so much of my daily life, even though I've already tried so many things?
Goodbye Tinnitus was created based on personal experience
Not from the idea of developing yet another quick fix for the noise. But from the experience of what it feels like to search for answers for years and still feel like you aren't really making any progress.
At some point, the search begins
Doctor's appointments, various treatments, dietary supplements, neck and jaw issues, relaxation, background noise, and always new things you hope will help this time.
With every new attempt, a glimmer of hope returns. And if nothing really changes, the search begins all over again.
This very experience was one of the starting points for Goodbye Tinnitus.
Eventually, the question changed
Only later did another one join it:
This began an intensive engagement with the connections surrounding chronic tinnitus, habituation, attention, as well as cognitive and behavioral factors.
It became increasingly clear: there is a big difference between the phrase "You have to learn to live with it" and actually understanding what that might mean and how this knowledge can be applied in one's own daily life.
This is precisely the gap we want to close with Goodbye Tinnitus.
Knowing what you should do doesn't mean knowing how
Many sufferers are already familiar with individual pieces of advice.
The problem is: knowing what you are supposed to do doesn't mean knowing how.
That is why we built Goodbye Tinnitus as a structured path. Not as a collection of even more individual tinnitus tips, but to explain in an understandable way which connections play a role and how this knowledge can be applied to your own daily life step by step.
No promise of a cure. No new tinnitus trick.
It is important to us to be transparent.
Goodbye Tinnitus does not promise to cure tinnitus or to make the sound disappear.
Our program picks up on established principles regarding habituation, attention, as well as cognitive and behavioral factors in chronic tinnitus and presents them in a way that is understandable and practical.
In doing so, we orient ourselves, among other things, to approaches that also play a role in recognized guidelines for dealing with chronic tinnitus.
Goodbye Tinnitus itself is not a clinically tested therapeutic procedure and does not replace medical diagnostics, medical treatment, or psychotherapy.
View scientific basis ↓People with tinnitus don't need even bigger promises
They need understandable information, realistic expectations, and a clear path to actually translate what they have learned into their everyday lives.
Understandable instead of complicated
You should be able to understand the reasoning behind each step.
Structured instead of isolated tips
The content builds on itself and creates a clear common thread.
Transparent instead of big promises
We are open about what Goodbye Tinnitus is meant to achieve and what it is not.
Personal experience shapes how we talk about tinnitus
Personal experience with tinnitus is an important part of Goodbye Tinnitus. It does not replace medical training, nor is it intended to.
But it has shaped how we talk about tinnitus and how we prepare our content: clearly, respectfully, and without downplaying the burden.
Because behind tinnitus, there is more than just a sound.
There are the bad nights. The automatic listening. The worry about whether it could get worse tomorrow. The frustration after the next unsuccessful attempt. And the feeling that those in your own social circle can hardly comprehend how much space something can take up that no one else hears.
Goodbye Tinnitus was created exactly for these people.
